CPCS (TRAINED) RED CARD

To achieve a CPCS Red card you must;

Pass the CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) health and safety test within in the last two years.

Completed any training necessary to bring you up to industry standard

Passed the CPCS Theory & Practical Tests at an accredited CPCS test centre.
Once a red card has been achieved, the operator has two years to complete a Plant Operations NVQ Level 2 and gain their blue (experienced worker) card.
If your red card has expired for over 12 months, no renewal can be given and you must proceed directly to blue. In doing so, you must complete all steps noted below.
CPCS (COMPETENT) BLUE CARD

To achieve a CPCS Blue card you must;

Pass the CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) health and safety test within the last two years.

Achieved the CPCS Theory and Practical test on each category at an accredited CPCS Testing Centre.

Registered & completed an NVQ Level 2 in plant operations (See EWPA route)

Apply to CPCS for the blue card
